There’s been a lot of surf media focus on Ryan Burch recently. Whether it’s an upcoming part in the next Thomas Campbell surf film, an interview in the latest SURFER magazine, or a profile clothing line with Volcom, he seems to be everywhere right now. And the best thing about a ubiquitous Burch? – regardless of the stakes or intensity of the spotlight he appears to be having a great time, indulging in his self-shaped quiver of creative oddities, and pushing others around him to expand their perception of how to have fun surfing.
Along with the release of their new clothing line, Volcom is sending Ryan Burch and Ozzie Wright on “a Road Rager Surf Tour up and down the West and East Coasts of the U.S. to demo some Ryan Burch Surfboards, throw some art show, jam to live music, and have some good ol’ fashion hang time.” The Burch and Wright duo will be in San Francisco on March 3, 2018 from 9:00 AM-12:00 noon at the Beach Chalet for a morning of surf and such. This will be followed up by an afterparty at Proof Lab in Mill Valley from 5:00-9:00 PM.
