The third annual one-of-a-kind San Francisco Ocean Beach Fish Fest is set to jump off once again this Saturday, October 26, 2019. But wait, what the heck is Fish Fest? According to the Surfrider Foundation – San Francisco Chapter’s Facebook page, it entails a mix of “Art, Music, Food – all on one of the best blocks in the Outer Sunset.”
This family friendly series of events starts with a beach cleanup at Lincoln and Great Highway from 9:00-11:00AM before spilling over into the festival part of the festival taking place on Irving Street. From 11:00-5:00PM music from the likes of Lucy & The Long Haul, The Fixins, Sally Mango, Mangobus, and Sandy’s will be flowing like beer from North Coast Brewing Co. Add a culinary offering from the locally established Hook Fish Co. and you start to get an idea of the awesomeness splashing around here.
So, don’t hesitate. Head down for some nice fall season Ocean Beach surf, a great cause, and a good time.
