Chris Burkard has 2.5 million Instagram followers for a reason. His photography is stellar, often pitting humans against immense, aesthetically stunning landscapes and challenging conditions that call for existential pause. He also goes to locations that many will not. His latest film, made in partnership with Ben Weiland, is a case in point.
